A different kind of movie app
MovieWall is built around one simple idea: every movie decision says something about you. A swipe becomes a memory, a plan or a quiet no. Over time, those choices become a profile that is unmistakably yours.
See the experienceFour directions. Clear intent.
The gestures are easy to learn, but each one has a meaningful place in your movie life.
Remember it and add it to your Wall.
Save it for the right moment.
Pass for now and keep it personal.
No decision yet. Let it return later.
Your personal movie memory
Seen, Watchlist and Unseen stay separate and easy to explore. Sort by year, score, votes or the moment you added a film. Filter across genres. Open any poster and the full story is still there.
Discovery with a point of view
Start broad, hunt for a hidden gem or shape a precise search from genre, year, runtime, rating and popularity.
Your taste, made visible
Explore genres, release eras, runtimes, languages, directors and actors. Every insight opens the films behind it.
Movies are better with people
Find friends by name or MovieWall ID, follow their profile and explore what they have watched or saved.
Private by choice
Keep your profile public or private. Choose a separate audience for Seen, Watchlist and Stats. Unseen is always yours alone.
A thoughtful first minute
A short, visual introduction learns the first contours of your taste.
Claim a username, receive a MovieWall ID and choose what others may see.
Every swipe, search and saved film adds a little more meaning.
TMDB provides the factual and visual foundation for movie discovery. MovieWall adds personal decisions, organisation, privacy and social context around that information.
MovieWall is currently in private development. Before a monetised public release, we intend to agree the appropriate commercial API terms with TMDB and finalise a production-safe data architecture.

Built with care
MovieWall helps people decide and remember without turning every screen into a feed.
The core movie memory and social experience should remain genuinely useful.
Clear attribution, appropriate permissions and production-safe credentials are release requirements.
A Wall should become more valuable with time, not disappear behind changing trends.

Movie metadata and imagery can include titles, artwork, release information, genres, runtimes, scores, vote counts, credits, trailers and reviews. MovieWall adds the personal choices, collections, statistics and social experience around that data.
No. A profile can be public or private, and Seen, Watchlist and Stats each have their own audience setting. Unseen always stays private.
